Q: Does this extractor Kit Part Number: 2010015 fit PWS Primary weapons System MK111 mod 1-M 7.62 X 39

Asked by: Ed - 11/20/2024
A: Yes; ;however, from what my customers have discussed with us is PWS is overgassed which does lead to premature extractor failures. If you are not using an H2 buffer we highly recommend it. If shooting Tula or Red Army we highly recommend switching over to Wolf Ammunition.

Q: I have a BCA upper that I ordered in October 2021. In your description you state that there are issues with BCA uppers manufactured BEFORE 2021. Is still correct? Will this work with BCA's "enhanced" bolt manufactured in 2021? I am general pleased with my BCA upper but my extractor lip broke after about 150 rds, and would like to purchase a replacement that comes with new spring, pin, and o-ring. Thanks.

Asked by: Joseph Nichols - 5/14/2022
A: NO we have since changed our stance, if you have a BCA then we recommend getting a replacement from them. If you ever buy a new bolt assembly (not bolt carrier but bolt assembly) then you can buy extractors from various firearm companies.

Asked by: Thomas Donaleski - 5/5/2020
A: The extractor should work fine with PSA AR-15 bolt assembly.
Answer provided by: Customer Service (5/6/2020)
A: Our extractors should work fine on PSA or any manufacturer's mil-spec 7.62x39 bolt assembly with a .125" bolt face. We are only aware of not working with Bear Creek Arsenal 7.62x39 bolt assemblies.

Q: I'm assuming that BCA is Bear Creek Arsenal? I have a BCA upper and bcg from them as well chambered in 7.62x39. From one post am I reading it correct that this extractor will not work in there BCG? Thanks for your time.

Asked by: David - 4/15/2020
A: Yes that is correct. Our 7.62x39 extractor will not work with BCA 7.62x39 setup. You would need to buy a complete 7.62x39 bolt assembly from us or another company to work with your bolt carrier or you would need to get a 7.62x39 replacement extractor directly from BCA, From what customers have stated to us, they were unable to find a 7.62x39 replacement extractor from other companies that worked with their BCA bolt assemblies so I can't help to guide you to a replacement extractor that will work other than you will need to contact BCA. Sorry.

Q: Hello. Does the part 1701141, work with BCA BCG? If not, do you have one that does?

Asked by: James Burke - 10/24/2019
A: No, it does not work with BCA Bolt Assemblies. If you have a BCA bolt assembly you will need to replace the extractor with another BCA bolt assembly. I do not know of any company that has a true 7.62x39 extractor that works with a BCA bolt assembly.
Answer provided by: Administrator (10/24/2019)
A: Your other option is to replace the BCA bolt assembly with another manufacturer's that way you are not keyholed into having to purchase replacement extractor from BCA. Any manufacturer's complete bolt assembly is interchangeable with BCA bolt carrier group.

Q: I shoot 7.62 x 39 in a Windham Weaponry AR and also a 6.5 Grendel type I ( 0.125" depth bolt face). Will this extractor work with these bolts? Thanks and God bless. Matt

Asked by: Matt - 2/22/2018
A: If your 6.5 Grendel utilizes a Type 1 Bolt Assembly (.125" bolt face) then yes the 7.62x39 extractor is the correct replacement extractor.

Q: Is the extractor nitrided ?

Asked by: vernon frilot - 10/27/2017
A: Due to the tolerance of the extractors, we no longer nitride them due to the possibility of over penetration and causing the extractors to become brittle and causing premature failure. Due to this, all our extractors are now phosphate even in our nitride/melonite bolt assemblies.

Q: Is this for 5.56/.223 bolts? And what material is it made of?

Asked by: Chandler Arnold - 11/29/2015
A: Yes this is for all AR-15 bolt assemblies. Our Nitrided Bolt Assemblies and Enhanced Bolt Carrier groups already have this upgraded kit in them.

Extractor is MIL-S-5000 steel and vacuum hardened
VitonĀ® o-ring
As for the spring and rubber insert, I don't have the material for this, but we buy from top-tier vendors that only manufacture to mil spec standards or higher quality material such as our bolt assemblies manufactured from AISI 9310 VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelt), the highest standard bolt material made.
