It will only work if a couple rounds are loaded. Should stick to proper mags for the 7.62x39 for best reliability and performance.

Yes, DB uses CPD magazines. The 26rd magazine is the latest edition of CPD/Duramag as it use to state 28rd but they revised it to 26rd.
