Black Rifle Arms was founded in 2009 on the belief that an appropriately designed gas piston system would improve upon the existing AR operating systems. There are a few components we designed into our gas piston system that was not by accident, but due to prototyping, testing, and engineering and how to improve upon the piston platform. As we designed our gas piston system we looked to the future of where we saw the company expanding, and designed a gas piston system that could be versatile and could evolve over time as we grew our product line to include larger calibers. Along the way we designed the patent pending carrier buffer to eliminate wear and tilt that other systems experience, no extra aftermarket parts to add and no metal on metal contact. Our plan is to continue pushing Black Rifle evolution toward unmatched reliability coupled with classic AR ergonomics and versatility....we have some unique things in our future!
